Chakras

Located within the bodies of people and animals alike are Chakras. Chakras are scientifically proven energy forces that are positioned in specific areas throughout our bodies.

The scientific principle is that everything has energy and vibrates at different rates. Scientists now have accurate equipment that is sensitive enough to pick up and record the energy changes in the body. Through the use of this equipment scientists have come to the conclusion that the body has energy points in which energy enters and exists the body. These points coincide with those that a Reiki Practitioner is trained to work on.

There are 7 main Chakras that must all work together to control all aspects of well-being. If one of these Chakras become misaligned or blocked, we can experience negative results which usually lead to some form of pain or ailment.

Therefore, Reiki is used to realign or remove a blockage of the chakra(s) which alleviates and eliminates pain and ailments resulting in more productivity, less stress and better overall health.

Human Chakras

RED - Root: located at the base of the spine, it controls the reproductive system and the survival instinct. It is also associated with ANXIETY and FEAR.

ORANGE - Sacral: located in the lower abdomen, it controls the urinary tract, kidneys and blood sugar. It is also associated with EMOTIONS and DESIRES.

YELLOW - Solar Plexus: located in the mid-abdomen, it controls the digestive system. It is also associated with WILL POWER and ANGER.

GREEN - Heart: located in the center of the chest, it controls all aspects of the circulatory system, lymph system, immune system and allergies . It also is associated with COMPASSION and LOVE.

BLUE - Throat: located in the neck/throat it controls to all aspects of the respiratory system, ears and sinuses. It also is associated with CREATIVITY and COMMUNICATION.

PURPLE - Third Eye: located at the center of the forehead it controls the nervous system, eyes, mind and perception. It is also associated with AWARENESS and INSIGHT.

WHITE - Crown: located on the top of the head it is the central location of energy flow through the body. It is also controls all aspects of the BODY and MIND working together as a whole.
